About GULF MEP
GULF MEP is a business-to-business procurement partner for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades, supplying contractors, consultants, engineers and procurement teams working on projects across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf.
What we do
We source and supply MEP materials against project requirements. Rather than publishing a fixed price list, we work on a quotation basis: you tell us the specification, the quantity and where the material is going, and we come back with pricing, availability and lead time for that market. That model exists because MEP pricing genuinely moves with quantity, specification and destination, and a static price list would misrepresent all three.
What we supply
Our catalogue covers nine core disciplines, with over a thousand individual items:
- Plumbing — PPR, UPVC, CPVC and HDPE pipes, fittings, valves, traps and water storage tanks
- Electrical — cables, circuit breakers, distribution boards, switches, sockets, conduit and containment
- HVAC — split and VRF units, air handling and fan coil units, ducting, insulation and refrigerant piping
- Fire fighting — extinguishers, hose reels, cabinets, sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, detection and alarm equipment
- Pumps — centrifugal, submersible, booster, dewatering and solar pumps for supply, drainage and irrigation
- Water treatment — reverse osmosis units, filters and cartridges, softeners, dosing systems and storage tanks
- Gas systems — LPG and natural gas regulators, valves, flexible hoses, meters, detectors and safety devices
- Stainless steel — seamless pipes, elbows, tees, reducers, flanges, clamps and pipe supports
- Tools — hand tools, power tools, pipe cutters, threading equipment and measuring instruments
Each item on the site carries its own page with specifications, the brand where one applies, and the category and subcategory it belongs to, so a specifier can shortlist before making contact.
How the process works
- Browse or search. Filter by category, subcategory or brand, or search by product name or item code.
- Build a request. Add the items you need and set the quantity for each line.
- Submit an RFQ. One short form. The product name and item code are attached automatically.
- We review it. We check specification, availability and, where relevant, suitable alternatives.
- You receive a quotation. In writing, with pricing, lead time and commercial terms.
- Confirm and proceed. On approval we coordinate order processing and delivery to site.
No account is required to submit a request, and no payment is taken through this website.
Specifications and "upon requirement"
Where a specification is genuinely fixed — a diameter, a rating, a material grade — it is published on the product page. Where a figure depends on the configuration ordered, the page says N/A — Upon Requirement rather than printing a number that might not apply to your order. That wording is an invitation: tell us the configuration you need in a quote request and we will confirm it in writing. We would rather leave a field open than publish a figure we cannot stand behind.
Brands and sourcing
We supply from established manufacturers across the region and internationally, and the brand is shown on a product page wherever the item is brand-specific. Where a project specification names a particular manufacturer, we source to that specification. Where it names a performance standard instead, we can propose equivalents that meet it — which is often where a procurement team saves both cost and lead time.
Who we work with
The site is built for people who buy MEP materials as part of their job: main contractors and MEP subcontractors, consulting engineers preparing or reviewing submittals, facility and maintenance teams, and procurement departments consolidating requirements across a project.
The sectors we supply reflect that — construction, oil and gas, commercial and retail developments, infrastructure and utilities, manufacturing facilities, healthcare, hospitality, and data centres. Each carries its own demands, and the specification conversation differs accordingly.
Coverage
We are based in Al Malaz, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and quote for projects across the Gulf, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Availability varies by market, and delivery terms are confirmed per order in the quotation rather than promised in advance.
How we work
Specification before price. Getting the specification right is what prevents a rejected submittal or a return, so we would rather ask a question than assume.
Written quotations. Pricing, lead time and terms are confirmed in writing. Nothing is binding until we issue it.
No invented claims. Product data on this site reflects what we hold from our suppliers. Where we do not have a figure, the page says so.
A response you can plan around. Enquiries are answered promptly, because on a live site a slow quotation is often as costly as an expensive one.
If you have a requirement, send it through the quote request form or contact us directly — the details are on the contact page.
