Description

The NIBCO CPVC Male Adaptor is a highly useful transition fitting designed to connect standard CPVC piping to female-threaded plastic components, such as plastic valves or threaded bulkheads. Unlike brass-threaded adaptors, this fitting is constructed entirely from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride, offering uniform chemical resistance throughout the entire joint. One end features a standard 1-inch solvent-weld socket, while the other features a precision-molded CPVC male thread (MPT). It is highly favored in industrial chemical processing, water treatment, and high-temperature drainage where metallic threads might succumb to severe corrosion or acid degradation.
